REFLECT

I was in Tampa this past week for the second installment of the Aletheia Network prayer and planning. It was the first time since AP’s moved to Tampa to plant the newest Aletheia Church near the campus of USF that the leaders of our network (Aletheia Harrisonburg, Richmond, and Norfolk) have had a chance to hangout together. It was great to catch up with the leaders from across the network and see how God is moving in the midst of our churches.

The Aletheia Network exists to develop churches that target cities with strategic universities, using a Biblical model which combines relevancy and orthodoxy, in order to spiritually mobilize a generation for Christ. I was so honored to serve with these passionate and like-mind brothers and sisters in Jesus. The meeting consisted of a ton of strategic planning as we prepare for God to move in amazing ways in the next year. Some of the more exciting things to look forward to are:

• The Launch of The Aletheia Network Website (July 2009)
• Probe Trips to Potential Aletheia Locations (March 2010)
• Reflect: Our 1st  All Aletheia Church Retreat (May 2010)

So as all of you who have been a part of the Aletheia experience know…an Aletheia meeting is not all business. We found some time to catch up on life’s happening, eat some great food, and hear Keilan rock out on the ukulele by the pool.

For those of you who are reading this and know first hand the amazing things God is doing through Aletheia leaders and churches, I would ask you to pray! Pray that God would mobilize more church planters, ministry leaders and financial partners to assist in seeing the gospel taken to cities and campuses across this nation.
